Through his official website on Thursday (09/18/2015), Liverpool confirmed that Mamadou Sakho has signed long-term contracts.
"Liverpool is proud to announce that Mamadou Sakho has signed a long-term contract with the club," Liverpool said in a statement.
Sakho joined Liverpool from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2013. Two seasons at Anfield, the French defender has been diving a total of 47 matches.
Related to the new agreement, Sakho said, "I am very happy to sign a long term contract with Liverpool because, as I always say, I'm very happy to be here and my family too."
"I'm going to keep working because I was a soldier Liverpool and when Liverpool need me, I will give my best. I will try to remain professional and give the best for the city and the club," added the 25-year-old.
