MotoGP: Marc Marquez Taking a five-winning streak in Indianapolis

Marc Marquez noted fifth victories consecutively at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, after first-place finish at the Indianapolis GP Sunday (9/8/2015) midday local time (midnight Monday EST).

Marquez who started the race from pole position compete with Jorge Lorenzo at start. Lorenzo directly lead since the beginning of the race that took place 27 rounds.

Tough competition going on between Repsol Movistar Honda and Yamaha. Stoner and Lorenzo grabbing first place, while Dani Pedrosa and Valentino Rossi compete for third place.

Rossi successfully passed Pedrosa on the 18th lap. Pedrosa managed to take its place at the beginning of the 23rd lap but Rossi seized it again at the end of the same lap.

Marquez finally got past Lorenzo on the 25th lap of the beginning or the last three rounds of racing. The 22 year old racers managed to stay in front until touching the finish line.

It was the third victory this season, after Marquez GP Americas and Germany GP. Marquez also record always wins at Indianapolis in the last five years. The first two victories were obtained while he was still racing Moto2 (2011, 2012).

Rossi successfully defended its position from the pressures of Pedrosa. Finished third means Rossi survive the record always finish on the podium this season.

With the added 16 points, Rossi still survived in the first position standings with 195 points, while winning nine figures over Lorenzo. Marquez has now climbed to third place with a collection of 138 points.
